- Spreading the material: Before starting the destoner, the material should cover the second layer of the screen and move in a wave-like “boiling” motion. The bottom layer of material should ideally reach halfway up the transparent glass observation window. – Controlling Reverse Airflow: By controlling the reverse airflow, a clear dividing line is formed between the cross-shaped section and the wheat grains. Normal stone discharge and a grain content within the stones meet the requirements indicate normal operation. The distance between the reverse airflow damper and the screen surface should be approximately 15-20mm.
- Testing Suspension Velocity: Normal operation indicates that the wheat grains bounce or feel good to the touch on the screen surface.
